Hong Kong - Day 2

28th July 2009 (Tue)
In the morning, Hui Fang and Wei Chen went walking around our the place near our inn when me and Jia Wei were still getting ready..

We then went to eat brunch at Cafe de Coral, a chinese fast food type of restaurant in Hong Kong. Had their Barbecued Combo with Rice (四宝饭) and shared with Jia Wei's Pork Ribs.. (top left pict) Whereas Hui Fang and Wei Chen ate Octopus Rice and Ramen..
The food not bad bah.. acceptable :)
A photo taken inside Jordan station :) Off to Tsim Sha Tsui!
We went walking along Grandville Road.. go in and out of a lot of shops!! Never really buy much.. then we stopped at this famous dessert store in Hong Kong -Hui Lao Shan (许留山). Its like a must-try when visiting Hong Kong and they can be found anywhere :) They specialises in Mango desserts! and it was really good! The mango was sweeett~~
Had their Mango with Sago Drink..
But after that, Wei Chen started not feeling well.. dunno is it because of the mango drink or as we later came to know.. her growing wisdom tooth.. yup so we postpone the trip to the Peak and Wei Chen went back to the inn to rest.

The 3 of us headed to Mongkok and went to Langham Place.. a huge shopping centre! more than 12 storeys of shops!
From Level 8-13.. there's this horoscope thingy and we went to find each of our sculpture..

And we found mario too!
At Langham Place, me and Hui Fang each bought a bag.. and it kind of started my shopping spree at Mongkok :p
We then met up with Lily and she brought us to Argyle Street to walk walk..
There i made my first trip to Esprit outlet store and spent a lot on cargo pants.. hee.. while me and Hui Fang were trying on clothes, Lily and Jia Wei went to buy some street snacks which was delicious!!
By then, Wei Chen was feeling better and she has rejoin us! :)

We then proceeded to New Town Mall/Arygle Center.. its like 2 buildings.. one where everything is organised neatly into little shops, and another is more of shops and stalls along the corridors.. haha tons of shops and many levels!!! it is a heaven for shopaholics if the style suits u.. *more for youngsters*
hee.. but i still managed to get tons of stuff there~~ i was the biggest shopper that night..

We stopped over at this restaurant for beef ball noodle soup..
and then it was back to shopping! :D:D
