Trip to Macau! hee another country conquered! wahaha..
No time to sit down for breakfast.. so we went back to the Dim Sum place near our inn to 打包food to eat on the boat. . then we head off to Tsim Sha Tsui to take Ferry to Macau.. Bought the First Ferry tickets from the place China Hong Kong City (中港城) and then we went straight through immigrations..
hee.. the round trip tickets turn out to be cheaper~ :p
But the boat ride was not smooth sailing at all!! horrible!! the boat was like jumping on the water cause it was not sailing but gliding! i could only close my eyes and try to sleep to 熬过 the whole ride.. so i cannot savour my dim sum on the boat :(
by the time we reach it was 11+am.. went through immigration and went to take the free coach to Venetian Casino.. (yar all the big big casinos there have free buses to take u there.. so can save on transport! :p )
The ferry terminal..
The Venetian Bus..
By then i was so hungry.. haha so i settled my breakfast on the coach! since Venetian Casino is not Macau mainland itself but on the 'island' Taipa..
Along the way.. went past Sands Casino, Macau's Fisherman's Wharf, and we travel via the Friendship Bridge to Taipa... journey took abt 15-20 mins.. :)
The Venetian Casino + hotel from a far..
Inside the Venetian.. Bottom right.. A small picture of the casino area :)
And we finally reach the streets of 'Venetian'! haha looks actually like those at Las Vegas.. just not that compress in such a small area *from what i remember* but the sky is just as blue!
and we managed to watch one of the street performance! its one of the attraction of the place :D
its like a mini opera kind of performance.. *they appeared in Boys over Flower~*

after that we continue walking around and take lots of photos..

and we think we found the bridge that ju piao met up with si chao in the show.. :p haha hopefully we are correct!

The ceiling of one of the places within the building.. *nice!*

and even the toilets are nice..big big mirrors! even though the route to the toilet was not as impressive.. haha had to walk through the back part of the hotel.. like those passageways use by staffs..
4.jpg)
and then we came across this alley and St Paul came in sight! the alley is super nice to take lots of artistic shots!!5.jpg)
Walking towards St Paul.. (from the back)6.jpg)
and tada!
haha i always thought it was a big and majestic structure.. but it turn out to be much smaller than i thought :p and as expected.. lots of ppl around..

Initially we were considering taking the gandola but really not worth the money.. haha so we went gamble.. haha stand around for a while to see what each table was playing and we eventually ended up at the 大小table.. after observing a lot of rounds and figuring out what are the min bets.. and the rules and regulations.. we went to try our hands on the game..
haha can tell the dealer was very amused by us.. cause very obvious we were newbies.. our bets all very small (HK$20) and with beginner's luck we managed to win the first few rounds and were grinning away.. lol.. but subsequently our luck went away.. and eventually we each lost HK$100.. :(

but there was this lady.. so lucky.. she bet triple '1' and it really came out! the payout was like 1:24.. wow.. she immediately left the table after that! haahaha smart.. and must be seasoned gambler..
after that me and hf tried the jackpot.. but again failure.. cos we wasted half of our credits trying to figure out how to play.. lol.. by then i was a little giddy with all the *cheap* cigarette smoke that fill the air.. :x
we left the casino and continue walking around the 'venetian' streets before heading off to eat lunch at the wanton mee place suggested by lily.. by then it was 1 plus liao..
so we first took the coach back to the ferry terminal to buy our return tickets.. and then we took a taxi to the restaurant.. in the end the taxi driver brought us to the original shop instead of the newer shop that was much nearer (and i think the one lily had in mind)
but anw.. at least it is still the first store.. :) we ordered the basic wanton mee..
Then we went off to find the ruins of St. Paul (大三巴).. the most famous attraction of Macau.. lucky it was just as nearby..
Had to walk a bit through the streets of Macau..

One last look at St. Paul before we leave the place to find local snacks to buy back home..
we bought our snacks from this famous shop that is pretty popular.. and it has a lot of branches! but all along the same street!! lol.. really monopoly leh.. pity all those smaller shops..
haha we were wondering whether is it popular because lots of ppl buy things from that shop so it looks very crowded.. and subsequently attracting more ppl.. or is their snacks really much better then the other shops? :p
weichen was the biggest buyer! one BIG bag..
and then of course we cannot miss the egg tarts! we initially each bought 2 to eat.. but later wei chen went to buy 2 more after me and her ate one on the spot! *i shld hve gotten more too! that was the last egg tart for our whole trip :( *
Walking along the streets since we still had time, we found the egg tart shop that si chao and Ji Hoo bought their egg tart from but subsequently sichao left their wallet behind.. haha lots of ppl standing around to watch the show or to take photos.. but hardly anyone buying stuff from that shop! lol..
really wanted to try their 猪扒包.. but was too full :( lucky i had one the night before :p

Eventually we managed to end up at Senado Square.. another attraction of Macau that i wanted to go see see.. hee (it is also here where u can find the new branch of the wanton mee stall :p )
yup then we took a bus back to the ferry terminal.. which was quick and cheap! so much cheaper then taxi lar.. next time know take bus can liao.. very straightforward..
we managed to take the earlier ferry back to hk and this time round the boat sail through the water! so it was a very good ride! the seats were much better and bigger too :)

By the time we reach hk.. it was 8 plus liao.. we initially wanted to go to the 花园街 to shop.. but then decide to shift it to the next day since it was so late liao and we haven't settle dinner..
so dinner was KFC at the ferry terminal! tried one of their promotion.. but not very nice :(
and before we left the building, hf spotted her idol!
