Flight to Egypt!

6th / 7th December 2009 (Sun / Mon)

Never thought i would have the opportunity to travel to exotic places like Egypt but i did! :D

Joined the tour organised by CTC and travelled to different cities of Egypt like Cairo (the capital of Egypt), Alexandria, Luxor, Kom Ombo, and Aswan. Also had the opportunity to take many different mode of transports: plane, coach, fulca, cruise ship, horse carriage and camel!

But to reach Egypt, one would have to take 13 hours! Our flight was at night at 10.40pm and we had to transit at Dubai before continuing our flight to Egypt. Due to the time difference between Dubai and Egypt with Singapore, was and still is very confused abt the travelling time between the different places. :p But i know by the time we reach Egypt, it was abt 6am in the morning of 7th Dec Egypt time :D (time difference between Egypt and Singapore is 8 hours behind)

Had a meal onboard the plane while travelling to Dubai..

View of Dubai at night from the plane when flying towards Dubai airport.. this is the best photo i took of the city.. tried to find Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world) but was on the wrong side of the plane.
Even though we transited at Dubai, we could not leave the plane cause the transit is only about an hour. First time for me to stay on the plane, and it was an eye opener to see the cleaners come onboard the plane to do cleaning and have customs do checks on the plane. :)

Everything was done quite fast.. didn't have to wait long before we were airborne again!

and the remaining time was just spent sleeping :p
