Last Few Days in Hong Kong

2nd August 2009 (Sun)

Initially it was the day we were suppose to go to see the Big Buddha at Lantau Island and then to Tai-O village to take a boat to view the fishing village and try to catch a glimpse of pink dolphins.. followed by a trip to Citygate mall for some shopping..

but it was eventually decided that the first 2 item on the itinerary wld be cancelled.. so we only headed to Citygate Mall for shopping in the morning..
in the end we only bought stuff from Esprit..

and what Hui Fang and I ate for breakfast.. while Wei Chen ate her egg tarts...

we had this at a 烧腊店 cause go hk of course must eat 烧腊.. but we went too early.. they only start selling at 11am.. sad.. :( and this restaurant was the place i saw the filming a few days ago~

fast forward back to afternoon..

after Citygate Mall, we headed back to Kowloon to go to 花园街 at Mongkok!

but before that.. stop over at New Town Mall for some food!

We went back to eat the noodles that Lily bought for us during our first visit to Mongkok.. super duper nice! noodles and ingredients packed individually.. pick what u want and they will mix it up for u! each packet is HK$2.50! *why don't they have this in Singapore!!*

Then we each bought a drink.. i had Litchi Green Tea with Seaweed Jelly.. (荔汁寒天绿茶) think i didn't really like the Litchi thingy.. so didn't really enjoy my drink..

we also finally had some street food! haha finally found some fishballs and smelly tofu!

erm.. then we walk all the way to 花园街.. not say very near or easy to find the way from Mongkok MTR.. lol but we eventually found our way after asking for directions~ and we stayed there till 10+pm when all the shops started closing!! and we were like 'why are all the shops closing so early'.. in the end i went to ask one of the shop owner and found out that this place opens at 10+am and close at 10+pm.. sad.. but we by then we had walked all the way to the end of the street to Prince Edward Station (太子)..

so with all the shops closing.. we have no choice but to head home..

3rd August 2009 (Mon)
LAST DAY!! sob..

Because Wei Chen and i kept thinking of a particular bag we saw the night before but did not manage to buy it before all the shops started closing at 花园街.. we decided to head back there in the morning before we meet up with Lily..

While waiting for the bag shop to open, i managed to buy my 叉烧 to eat! haha.. and wei chen bought another pair of shoes~

too bad i got no much money left.. so cannot buy any more stuff :(
*i'm still thinking of a particular pair of shoe*

So after the last min shopping.. we went to meet up with Lily at Mongkok.. cause she was bringing us to go buy 老婆饼 and　菠萝面包 to bring back to Singapore..

we also had milk tea while walking back to Langham Place for lunch!

Lunch was at a restaurant at Langham Place selling Wanton Mee.. and i got my 叉烧 to go with it! haha.. not forgetting the yummy Mango Sago Dessert!

After that it is back to the inn to pack in all our last min buys... then we took a taxi to the airport.. by then it started raining! (start of the typhoon.. lucky it only hit hk after we left)

-HK airport-

Me and Wei Chen took SQ back and this time round we are sitting together~

Our flight was at 6.30pm.. but Hui Fang's JetStar Flight is only at 8pm... lucky got Lily to accompany her.. and eat dinner with her.. (haha.. Lily was at the airport to meet her sister.. so qiao)

On the plane home~

and Haagen Dazs Ice-cream together with our dinner!! *yum yum*

Reached Singapore at abt 10pm.. and then it was home sweet home!

That sums up my trip to 4 diff. places in 2 weeks :D
