Today is the last full day on the cruise before we dock at Hong Kong tomorrow!
Since we were having Chinese breakfast for the last few days, we decided to have a try at western breakfast for a change. :) and i got to eat my poached eggs and smoked salmon! :D
After breakfast, thought we were very full, my dad still wanted his scrambled eggs and thus we headed to the buffet area to get some more eggs and waffle. Full~~
As we are now really out in open waters / sea, it got really choppy as the day went by. Really strong winds and i ended up being really sea sick. Initially plan was for me to head to the library to do some tidying up of my document on my laptop but i ended up heading back to the cabin to sleep the day away.
But i still headed out to have lunch at the Chinese restaurant.
Then it was back to sleeping in bed cause i was really feeling really sick in the afternoon.
First time experiencing such bad sea sick when i am on a cruise. I thought being on such a big ship, it wouldn't be that bad. But the crew says that typically in such open waters, once we leave the malaysia waters, it will be like this. The wind was so strong that we couldn't even step out onto the deck.
Last night on the cruise is the Gala Dinner where we are suppose to dress up and eat a nice formal meal. But as i wasn't feeling well, i ended up not eating much and have to leave the dining place halfway to head back to the room to lie down :(
For the Gala Dinner, i chose the western cuisine while my parents had the chinese cuisine.
For mine, i chose the Smoked Duck Breast Carpaccio, Cream of Forest Mushroom Soup, Roasted Beef Tenderlion Seasoned with Orange Pimiento Flakes & Baked Alaska.
If i wasn't sick, i would have taken a second helping of the Baked Alaska ice cream >_<
After dinner, it was the last night activity on the cruise. A performance titled 'Stone of Atlantis'.
And then it was time for me to head back to bed and have an early night.
What a way to end my last day on the cruise.. :(
